Appearance: Ember isn't very tall at only 4 feet 6 inches and has a smaller build. She has long, wavy ginger hair that reaches the middle of her back and has emerald green eyes. Her skin is very pale and underneath her eyes she has light freckles that are in a scattered formation. She typically wears blue jeans, black and white converse and colourful tops. She always wears a golden locket that has a diamond in the centre, a gift from her Grandma Em who passed away. She typically wears pink lipgloss and small amounts of eye shadow, mascara and blush. Her s shaped birthmark is now a very light green but before that had yet to be colored. Everyone simply thinks that it is a scar from the surgery that she had when she was little.

Personality: Ember is shy and has a hard time introducing herself to new people. Once she knows someone she is a bit more social but even then would never be considered extroverted. She is a very kind and caring person and is a great listener. Since she isn't the best at sports she spent her time learning and doing everything her over protective parents would let her do. This has helped make her very intelligent and one of the smartest students in her grade. She constantly puts effort in everything that she does and is very curious to discover everything including this that people say she most likely won't be able to do. She has great sportsmanship and constantly is cheering everyone on, no matter win or lose she always is grateful for the expierience. She always takes advice that is given to her and does her best to apply it to what she is doing. She is very positive and almost always has a smile on her face.
History: Ember was born prematurely which is one of the reason why she is shorter then everyone else. She was quite weak as a child but took up gymnastics in order to become stronger. She gave gymnastics a few years ago but once in a while she goes back to visit the gym and try doing a few tricks. She was born on the countryside in Canada in a small house that was built by her grandfather with help from her father and uncle. She was never considered the popular one or the pretty one but that never bothered her. Throughout elementary and middle school she was constantly picked on because of her height and it did affect her emotionally but her parents and friends were always there to support her.
She was discovered one day during science class a few days after there original science teacher got in a car accident. They were doing an experiment on how items reacted to heat. Although Ember's best friend Ava was two afraid to go within two feet of the burner, Ember was in her element. Science, specifically chemistry, was her favourite subject and no one, not even Ava, was going to ruin her hour in the chemistry lab. Finally after what felt like hours of convincing and the majority of the assignment done, Ember finally convinced Ava to put the last item, a glass of water, onto the burner. Ava agreed and slowly walked towards the burner. Ember handed her the glass with the water inside and Ava put it on the burner. Ember congratulated her friend for the accomplishment and they had a quick celebratory hug. As Ava was leaving the hug her elbow touched the burner and she quickly put her hand around it, knocking the glass of hot water onto Ember's left hand. Ava apologized and got the teacher to look at both of there burns. The teacher spent a few more seconds looking at the birthmark on Ember's wrist before helping them clean up the broken glass as well as put bandages on the burns. Right as class was over the teacher called Ember over to talk to her for a moment. She showed Ember her birthmark which was light green and explained everything. Ember could hardly believe what she was hearing and was very reluctant to listen but the teacher ended up convincing her to go to the camp.
Her parents believe that cam Occult is a camp for those with gifted intelligence in core subjects like Math and Science. They believe that the science teacher recommended her to the camp.

Nickname: Sky (this is what her friends call her), Songbird (only her father knew about this nickname and that is what he called her.) Most people just call her Skylar.

Appearance: Skylar has dirty blonde hair that goes past her shoulders and has green eyes. Her hair has some natural waves and she wears it natural and down. She is 5 feet 5 inches and dosen't have that many curves. Her skin is somewhat pale but not ghostly. She typically wears a grey sweater with her black leggings and a denim jacket although when the weather gets warmer she is in either a summery dress or a t- shirt and shorts. She almost always does her makeup.
Her s symbol is light green and on her wrist. Everyone simply thinks it's a scar from when she fell off of the monkey bars and broke her arm. Once the light green came though she realized that she would have to hide it somehow so she just started wearing a gold bracelet that helped hide the green whenever she was with others that don't know about Camp Occult.

Personality: Skylar has a bubbly personality and is a bit of a social butterfly. She is very friendly and is always ready to help someone that needs it. She is still in pain from her father's death because she was very close to him. If someone brings it up she will usually try to change the subject. She is up for trying new things and does have curiosity in her. She is encouraging and has good sportsmanship. She can get very disorganized at times and has a tendency to lose things. She doesn't have a great memory and often takes double the amount of time it takes other people to memorize lines.
History: Skylar has always loved music. When she was little her father would play the guitar and they would sing together. Sometimes her mother would join but it was mainly just the two of them. Her father would call her his little songbird because she was always singing. At the age of seven her father finally agreed to start teaching her the guitar. At first it was a few basic chords but after a month she was able to play there favourite song. Skylar was so excited and managed to get her first performance playing and singing, with help from her father, for her mothers birthday. Everything was perfect until a few months after her 12th birthday. Her father got very sick and ended up getting diagnosed with cancer which killed him. Skylar was devastated. It was like her whole entire world was a cookie crumbling to pieces.
After her father past away her and her mother moved into a small apartment in California. Skylar had to leave all of her friends behind and start fresh. This was when Skylar completely lost herself. She was trying so hard to find something that made her happy. All music did now was bring back a past she didn't want to remember. She shoved everything that reminded her of her father underneath her bed and tried to get rid of the pain inside. She would spend days simply crying in her room. Her mother tried to help but Skylar just stayed in her universe of sadness. Her mother even started home schooling her. Skylar only left the house a couple of times a week.
She was scouted in one of the least expected places. The washroom. She was in the middle of washing her hands when another lady came up beside and started washing her hands. They both reached for the soap and the same time and that was when the lady glanced down and saw the birthmark. The lady grabbed Skylar's wrist and help it up in front of her. It seemed like she was examining her s shaped mark. Skylar looked down and noticed that the lady had the same mark although her's was green. Skylar asked what was going on and the lady realized that she must've looked ridiculous. She let go of Skylar's hand and took her to Camp Occult, explaining everything on the way.
That first summer at Camp Occult was probably one of the best things that ever happened to her. She started talking to people and making friends again. Smiles started to appear more frequently on Skylar's face and when she returned home her mother was able to convince her to go back to public school. She started to rebuild her relationship with her mom even though she still wasn't ready to talk about her father or think about music.
She started to make friends at the public school and ended up finding something else she loved. Theatre. Acting was an oppertunity for her to forgot about whatever was bothering her and for her to step into a new mind and feel what they were feeling and do what they were doing.
The following years she returned to Camp Occult for the summer and go back to the school during the school year, although that changed when she was 15. That year her Grandmother finally convinced her mother to let Skylar stay with her for the summer. Skylar was very excited despite the fact that she knew it meant not going to Camp Occult that summer. She ended up with a pet beagle which was named Chief. Her father always loved beagles and so did her Grandmother. Although her mother was skeptical at first after tones of begging and help from a friend her mother came around and she got to keep the dog.
She has slowly started doing music again and she sometimes even looks at some of her father's old things. She hasn't exactly found herself yet but she is a lot closer then when she was after her father died. She still does have a hard time talking about her father although she is getting better.
Her mother thinks that Camp Occult is a place where children who have lost important people in there life can go to meet other people and try to overcome the sadness and talk to people who truly understand the pain that they are going through.

Appearance: Kota has long dark brown hair that is naturally curly. She hardly ever straightens her hair and it pretty much always is in a ponytail. She has light green eyes. She wears makeup often. She has some curves and is 5 feet 6 inches. Her wardrobe mainly consists of black leggings and black and grey t-shirts. She also always wears black combat boots.
Her s shaped mark people simply think is a birthmark. Nothing more then that. Although once it turned dark red she simply either hid it underneath her sleeve if she was wearing something with long sleeves or cover it with makeup.

Personality: Kota is in between being introverted and being extroverted. She likes having her own space and has never really had anymore then two or three friends at a time. She's fine with that though because she would rather have a couple of close friends then a whole bunch of friends that she only somewhat knows. She can be sarcastic and witty at times. Overall though she is a kind, caring and understanding person although that can be hidden at times as well as hard to find.
History: Gymnastics was Kota's life. For as long as she can remember gymnastics was always there even when no one else was.
Justin and Hope had always wanted a big family but when Hope died of cancer Justin decided to adopt children so that he could keep there dream. There was no way that he would marry again. Justin and Hope are both very successful people so although they weren't millionaires and billionaires they have enough money to support everyone in the family.
Before Kota was adopted she lived in an adoption center that was run by one of the teachers at the nearby school. Kota was there since she was a baby because according to the workers at the adoption center her parents died in a car crash.
Kota got adopted at the age of seven. She ended up in a family with three other boys and one other girl as well as their father. Since her older sister wanted to do gymnastics she got roped into it too. At that time Kota hated the thought of having to do gymnastics but her sister managed to convince her. She can still remember that day when the girls when to get their first leotards. Bridget got a bright pink leotard that had sparkly swirls all over it while Kota got a plain dark purple leotard.
As a child Kota loved her family. Although her brothers got annoying at times Bridget was the best older sister a girl could ask for.
When Bridget started middle school she found cheerleading. That was when Bridget started spending less time doing gymnastics and more time cheerleading. Kota on the other hand was winning gymnastics competitions and became on of the best gymnasts at her gym next to her sister of course.
Kota started middle school the year after and although Bridget wanted and encouraged her to join the cheer team but cheerleading just wasn't for her. Kota put all of her focus on gymnastics and school.
When Bridget turned 13 she gave up gymnastics. It was her first year of high school and cheerleading was more her thing. It was upsetting for Kota and she got over it eventually but it just wasn't the same. She missed her sister.
Her sister and her slowly started to grow apart. When Bridget started cheerleading gymnastics started to become the only thing that they did together. They both made an effort but with being in different schools and Bridget making new friends it was hard. Kota was slowly losing her best friend and they were just sister.

Kota was scouted when she was 16 at one of her gymnastics competitions. After the competition was over a woman not much older then her ran towards her. She congratulated Kota on her win and then she started talking. Kota wanted to leave but knew that it would be rude if she did so she listened for a little bit. The woman asked if she could get a closer look at the medal. Kota agreed took of the medal. Then she passed it to the woman. The woman was about to take the medal when she paused. She asked about the mark and Kota said that it was a birthmark. That was when the women told her everything about Camp Occult.
She spent the next two summers being a camper at Camp Occult and after a lot of deliberating she decided to become a counselor.
Her father thinks that Camp Occult is a gymnastics summer camp that Kota helps out with as an assistant coach.

As she got closer to the entrance of the room where she heard the noises coming from she realized that the sound of her mother wasn’t because of joy but instead was because of pain. She immediately stopped and felt around her. She felt a wall not to far away from her and she hid behind it as she continued to listen. Her mother knew that she had to find a way for her daughter to escape even though she was in a lot of pain. Cecilia heard her mother continue to cry and she knew that she had to do something. She slowly walked towards the noise while still keeping her hands on the wall. Cecilia's mother knew that her daughter was coming so will the strength she had left she yelled as loud as she possibly could. Cecilia heard her mother tell her to go and after she heard that she started to walk away from the room. Right before she started running though she heard her mother say through tears the words that would be her last.

Then Cecilia started to run as fast as she possibly could out of the place she used to call home and into the world full of the unknown.
Cecilia found a dark alleyway in town that she decided to make home. She very quickly began to learn though that in order to survive here she would have to become a pickpocket. Although she wasn't very skilled and had to rely on four senses she was able to live doing that for a couple of weeks. One person though that she would soon try to pickpocket might just give her more then the couple of coins she expected.
On one of Cecilia's trips away from the alleyway she heard the voice of a man. She followed the sound of his voice and listened to him talk about a group of people called the Star Children. Cecilia had never heard of these people before and she was curious so she continued to listen. He talked about how he had recently went from being second in command to third in command because a member of the Star Children passed away. He continued saying that the member was a very promising third in command and that it was a shame to see her die. Then the man said something that caught Cecilia's full attention.
"June Lily Sparrow was her name."
Her mother third in command of a group called the Star Children? Did her father know anything about this? She had a million questions and she knew that this person would have the best chance of answering them. She tried her best to continue to follow the sound of the person's footsteps but they were in a very loud part of town. She could barely hear the persons footsteps and had a very hard time following them while trying to not bump into other people. Even though she had a lot of determination she eventually knew that it was no use. She couldn't possibly follow this person any longer. She turned around and start to head back to the alleyway.

The man suddenly realized why the girl looked so familiar. She was June Lily's daughter. He told the girl to walk with him and although she looked unsure at first, she eventually agreed.

Even though this all fascinated Cecilia all she could think about was that she wanted to avenge her mother and become third in command. When the man was done explaining Cecilia told him about her goal. She was disappointed to find out that she would need a mentor but her disappointment quickly disappeared when the man said that he would mentor her. The man told her a few more things before Cecilia suddenly stopped hearing his footsteps. She stopped and asked the man why they man why they were no longer walking. The man replied saying that he forgot to introduce himself and told her that his name was David Cross.
