Hello everyone!

Trevor Noah has done several extensive interviews about his memoir. It’s interesting to listen to Trevor expand upon the overall themes of the book as well as examine specific moments.

The first video is from Guardian Live and Trevor is interviewed by Matt Ford:

The second video is from Politics and Prose where Trevor is interviewed by New Jersey Senator Cory Booker:

What are your thoughts on the interviews?

Trevor comments that, prior to writing the book, he was concerned that his stories wouldn’t connect with others because they were so unique and seemed so specific to him. Yet, he’s heard from many people about how they were able to connect and relate to his experiences because they touched on broader themes.

Can you connect or relate to Trevor’s childhood even if you’re childhood and life experiences are different?

Feel free to share your thoughts on the interviews, the book, or both!

~Nicole
