Megan (lahairoi) | 7470 comments Just completed #34 (published 2018) - The Wife Between Us by Greer Hendricks. This is a nicely written, surprising book! In the first six chapters, it seemed pretty standard, I thought I had it figured out, and that I had read something like it before. Then the script flipped, and the book kept surprising me after that. Well done! There were just a few minor plotpoints that didn't fit. Definitely worth reading! I received this book as a free giveaway in exchange for my honest review. 4.5 stars

I enjoyed the first part of this book, but the second part was very difficult for me to care enough to read. It was written in reverse chronology, and while I get it in how it mattered to the plot, by the time it was over, I just didn't care. It also made it difficult for me to connect with the characters. Overall, just so so. 3 stars
