I couldn't find any pictures of the Uhrturm illumined, but this is what it looks like normally:

Do you know why they have chosen the color orange? Does it have any specific meaning?
I haven't heard anything about this campaign until I read your post. And I don't know of any event or action taking place in my city. So I don't think I will join the campaign. But if I should get knowledge of any event maybe I'll be visiting. Symbolic statements are not really my way, so I doubt I will wear orange.
Yesterday on the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women we had a bunch of actions here in Vienna! But I don't think any of them were related to the campaign of UN Women. I know that yesterday at least four different feminist actions took place in Vienna and some of the participants even joined forces.
I have participated at one pro-choice action in protest against Christian fundamentalists and other idiots who marched against women's rights and autonomy under the banner of "pro life" / anti-abortion: https://marschfuernarsch.noblogs.org Some folks had tried to block the march earlier but this year there have just been some symbolic protests directed against the march like holding signs and chanting paroles. The police - as usual - reacted repressive against the protesters and threatened with legal action and the police also pushed aside journalists who report critical of the fundamentalists.
There have also been actions of #metoo activists, autonomous feminists and activists of the Latinamerican "Ni una menos" movement in Vienna.
Yesterday was really a colorful and diverse feminist action day here in Vienna! :)
