Books that Start Conversations with Strangers

During a flight delay, recently, I was sitting at the airport terminal, a woman walked up to me and said, "Excuse me, I saw you are reading Neruda. I love Neruda."
We struck a conversation and talked about Neruda and my favorite book, and hers Love in the Time of Cholera.
It turned out she is a corporate attorney but had received her undergraduate degree in Latin American Literature. I could see the longing in her face for a time when she might have read more than legal briefs and contracts. Our flight started to board and we parted ways.
Hopefully, she picked up her Neruda again, remembering....
"You will remember that leaping stream
where sweet aromas rose and trembled,
and sometimes a bird, wearing water
and slowness, its winter feathers."
You Will Remember,
-Pablo Neruda

Thanks!

Also, he's talking to her because she's a somewhat attractive female. It has nothing to do with her book.

It didn't change my life. But it was an AMAZING book. Loved every minute and I have never forgotten it.
