Last month I made an overview of the books I had on my original plan at the beginning of the year that I still might read. I already changed out a few books (mostly for my Around the year in 52 books Challenge). Since I already met my goals of finishing and getting up-to-date in series I'm not sure if I will read the series books that I have left from my original plan. I might change them for other books from other series.

Sharmon (tpgirl) | 272 comments Have a great December.

I found Snow Flower so interesting because I really knew nothing about the traditions.

Lieke | 1723 comments Thank you Veronica and Sharmon.

I finished Snow Flower en de geheime waaier, but although the traditions where very interesting I thought the characters where very flat. And I had trouble finishing the book since it didn't really invite me to pick it up again.

Sharmon (tpgirl) | 272 comments I agree. I struggled through it also, I see that I gave it four stars but I remember that I really had to work to finish it, so I am not sure why I gave it four stars.

Lieke | 1723 comments Maybe because the setting and everything was interesting, just not my kind of writing. I was wondering if it was because of the translation but seeing your opinion I don't think it is.

Lieke | 1723 comments My next book Zonnestorm by Bianca Mastenbroek was a lot better. A great and different take on the end of the world at the 21st December 2012.

message 10: by Lieke (new)

Lieke | 1723 comments I finished Drakenhoeder and De tuinen van de purperen draak by Carole Wilkinson.
The first two books in a fun children's series about dragons.

Lieke | 1723 comments I didn't add my books when I read them this month.
I started a new to me series by Lisa Hearin, easy but fun. I read the first two books.
Read book two in a comic series without words: Het avontuur tegemoet.
Started a new series by Marissa Meyer: Renegades, I liked it a lot. It is about superheroes and villains who are growing up.
The last book I started this year, but will finish next year is The Lost Plot by Genevieve Cogman, the 4th book in the Invisible Library series.
