I've let Karen know that our points need to be adjusted to reflect the reduction of Lilac's book and my book. Unfortunately that means we are no longer tied for 4th place. We'll just have to really get as many books in as possible this week to get to 4th. It's our last week! We can make it happen team!!

I'm reading Real Murders by Charlaine Harris. The MC's name is Aurora Teagarden.

Wow Shannon! That's a lot of books for 8(?) weeks! I think you should celebrate! Lol

Angel, I really liked Aurora! I haven't read the books in a loooong time so I honestly don't remember if they were good or not, but I remember I really liked the MC. I related to her in some way. It maybe I just liked her quiet life of working in a library around all those books! Lol

I relate to her a litttle bit too in her passion of books and how she has a little brother so young. I too have a really young sister. They are nearly the same age (6 and 7).
Working in a library would be wonderful! People often laugh at me saying that I should become a librarian, but it wouldn't be so bad. I would love to actually.
I don't read crime novels really often. Honestly I only read it because I loved the sookie stackhouse series so much and wanted to read something else by Charlaine Harris. but we never know. It might open me the doors to a new and rich universe! My mother is hoping that I'll catch the crime/thriller virus so that she can introduce me to her favorite authors.

I liked it alright, but I don't think I'll become a mystery addict just yet ;)

Well in your mom's defense, it was a cozy-mystery, which is very different than a true mystery/thriller book!

yeah, I kind of got that but my mom sees it as a big step toward her favorite genre. I don't think I'm ready for that though. I don't even really enjoy all these crime series on tv, except for Bones and Sherlock strangely. We can't totally escape them I guess. Maybe later, we'll never know!

Wah, so my birthday gifts have finally arrived. And I finished one of them. I play the Dragon Age video games and they have books, 4 actually. I have finished The Stolen Throne and I'm almost done with The Calling. There are only two letters that I can use from the 1st book, Bann Ceorlic and Maric Theirin. The Second has the C from the title, the T from Maric again, and an H from Hafter. After that I should be reading Asunder which I know features another C character by the name of Cole. I don't know what David Gaider's deal is with not branching out to other letters. Why no I's? Either way I have been either sleeping because of muscle relaxers(don't get in car accidents, back pain=bad) or reading silly nerd books. Not too bad for invaliding out. I've been avoiding the giant lore book until the challenge is over since it's not really something I can *read* per say.
