I haven't been procrastinating just caught off guard by how quickly it sprung up on me.
Wow! That's pretty early. I feel like I always moved in around the 20th..give or take a few days.
I was always the type to have good intentions of packing and start real early on certain things and then be like "Oh..I have so much time..I'll forget about it for a few days." And then BAM..I would not realize how fast time flew and that I had to move in 2 days.
Good luck packing!

Yeah we start classes this Thursday ( I never get why we start at the end of the week). So I'll be pulling my hair out moving, buying books, and trying to feel at home.

I always start getting kinda homesick and nervous this time of year. I feel like I'm "not allowed" to go home during the school year and I just really miss being in my house and around myfamily and pets. But I'll be excited to see people again. It'll be all good but it just takes a little while for transition
I HATED moving too! It was such a pain in the butt to pack everything, get it in the car, get it out of the car, carry it to room, unpack it all.
I'll never forget my freshman year of moving in. My best friend and I arrived around the same time with our parents and an insane amount of stuff into this tiny cramped room. The air conditioning wasn't working and it was an insanely HOT August day. We were dripping with sweat and literally couldn't move because boxes and bags were overtaking the room. It was pretty hilarious!
I actually NEVER got homesick. It was so weird. I've just never been the type of person to ever be homesick. I mean..yeah..I miss certain things about being home..but I don't know why I never have experienced it..not even on vacations, trips to Europe, going to summer camps, etc. But I've had roommates who definitely got homesick so I got to understand what they felt like.

But move in last year wasn't too bad, it was busy and hot of course. But it was over after about an hour and a half. Worse thing was lugging the fridge up to the 2nd floor (no elevators). This time should be easier, no fridge and we gained elevators. lol

I move back into the dorms on the 23rd. Yes, I'm super excited to be going back. I need to do all of my packing, but that's what next two weeks are for.

I ended up getting it everything moved into my apartment by 2:30 on Saturday. Without staying up later than usual, I had everything put away by the time I left at noon on Sunday, except for hanging my pictures and my curtains. I was impressed with myself.
