Chelsie (chelzlou) I have something I wanted to share with everyone that I just learned about- I don't know if everyone already knows about this but it would be a great, free way to participate in BOTM or for reading pleasure. It is an app that will link you to your library for free access to free ebooks.

The Overdrive app will link you with your library and you can get books on your Kindle, iPad or in PDF if you don't have a Kindle. I discovered it and now use it and it seems super easy to use. I have it on my phone and ipad and it then saves your sign in library.

Download the app (which is free) it will ask you to set up an account, and then you link into your library with your library card number. I have only had it for a week or so and am quite new and still learning how it all works.

Highly recommend for any reading junkie like me and saves having to run to the library every few days like I do.

Attached is the website I found information on it if anyone would like to look into it some more:

Jan C (woeisme) | 39173 comments My brother told me about Overdrive and I have been using it for about 6 months now. Especially like using it on my phone and linking to it in the car through Bluetooth. Some books are even renewable.

At least at my local library there is a limit of 5 books at a time.

And there is a pretty big selection.

I'm on the waiting list for three books right now. Have been waiting quite a while for Empty Mansions: The Mysterious Life of Huguette Clark and the Spending of a Great American Fortune but have moved up to #7.
