I guess I'm gonna keep it simple. You can answer both points or just pick one.
1) tell me your overall opinion of the book and what parts of it you liked or didn't like. Those of you with similar experiences, let me know if this made you feel like you are not alone or just triggered you and you didn't finish. All opinions are valid.
2) Tell us your favorite quote from the book.
I liked the writing of the book and it was very emotional read for me. She describes feelings amazingly well and in one paragraph, she described what I never could describe with my own words:
"I like to think a person with a mental illness is like a person listening to a song through headphones. Their lips are moving because they’re mouthing the lyrics. Their fingertips tap their desk, and their feet shuffle on the carpet because they can feel the rhythm. But those movements don’t make sense to someone watching. They can’t understand it because they can’t hear the song that’s playing. Does that make the music in the person’s ears any less real? If someone else can’t hear the song does that mean it’s not there?"

I understand it still early. However, I am playing devil advocate with all due respect. Did anyone not like the book? If I may ask, why?
