So you want to know how we do our nominations process for Book of the Month! We are glad that you want to know how we pick out our books. We have a few things that we need to go over then.
So we have three different nominations that we go through. 1. Our Series Read 2. First Book in a Series 3. Continuing a Series
So let us discuss the nomination process for Series Read. For our Series read we only ask that you only post the first book in the series. And if you cannot post the cover please always post the author of the book as well. This helps us find the book in question when we put the nominations pool together for others to see what is currently nominated. We also ask that you check the previously read books to make sure you do not nominate something we have already read. If you nominate something that has already been read that nomination will not be counted. If we have already started the series we will not count that nomination as we have already started the series. You can nominate up to four (4) selections. Only the first four nominations will be counted.
Now let us discuss the nomination process for First Book in a Series Read.. Four this nomination process we are only nominating the FIRST BOOK in the series. If you cannot post the cover please post the author name as well. We also ask that you check the previously read books to make sure you do not nominate something we have already read. If you nominate something that has already been read that nomination will not be counted. You can nominate up to four (4) selections. Only the first four nominations will be counted.
Now let us discuss the nomination process for Next in a Series.. Four this nomination process we are only nominating the NEXT BOOK in the series. This means if we have already read the first book you can nominate the second book. If we have read the second book already you may nominate the third book... so on and so forth. If you cannot post the cover please post the author name as well. We also ask that you check the previously read books to make sure you do not nominate something we have already read. If you nominate something that has already been read that nomination will not be counted. You can nominate up to four (4) selections. Only the first four nominations will be counted.
We are also going to go back to a polling for our nominations. The Nominations Board will be opened by the 15th of every month and be left open for 10 days. You will receive a broadcast message every day for those 10 days that the nominations board is open. One the 25th of each month we will be opening up the polling for Book of the Month if we have a tie. Polling will only be opened if there is a tie in the nominations process. The poll will only be opened for 48 hrs. You will also receive a broadcasted message for every day the polling is open 48 hrs.
