Fixed on You question

I remember reading a sneak peek excerpt of a book at the end of another book (erotic romance). I don't remember the title or the author of either. I thought it was Laurelin Paige or Stylo Fantôme, but I checked and didn't find anything. I do remember what the excerpt was about: it was from the point of view of the male lead's butler/assistant/whatever. He was narrating how he was seeing his employer go from woman to woman, never settling down, because he was still in love with a woman from his past. I remember the MC had a picture/painting of her hanging in his bedroom? The narrator thinks she's dead, but then they're in the car, and the MC sees *her* walking down the street and he goes after her. Can anyone plEASE tell me what this is? I checked the book out here on Goodreads after reading the excerpt but it wasn't out yet. That's why I kinda forgot about it, but I REALLY wanted to read it, and it just occured me that maybe it's already out but now I can't find it, and I'm going crazy because I can't remember anything about it other than the "plot" that will help me find it.
