Q&A with Elle Kennedy

If I start writing I have a plan in the ok I want write to about how they move in to ther Flat or room and how the chapter ends and everything in between is happing like i want it. For example I don’t plan any dialogues I just write them when I feel like they matching❤️ thanks for your answer.

Are you getting Exited when you releasing a book every time in a same level like it was when you published your first book ever?

P.S. I love your Off-Campus series and I can't wait for its spin-off series <3

Danielle Steel's Wanderlust. I've gone through three or four copies of the paperback. :)

Honestly, it's usually the one I'm writing at the moment, but Garrett from The Deal holds a special place in my heart.

It depends on what genre I'm writing. For Romantic Suspense books, I write a very detailed outline because of the multiple sub-plots and threads. With my contemporary books, I tend to just brainstorm and have a general idea of where I want to go, and go with the flow.

A little bit of both. I take inspiration from everyone I know for my characters. :)

I don't have anything specific planned at this month, but I love writing romantic suspense books, so I'm sure I will go back to that in the future.

For my romantic suspense books, I write a very detailed outline for the plot, characters, secondary characters, and I make sure that all the little sub-plots are moving forward and getting wrapped up.
With my contemporary books, I do a lot of brainstorming, and have a general idea of where I want to go. Then I sit down and just go with the flow.

Are you considering coming to the UK to sign any time soon?
❤️"
I don't enjoy traveling, because of my social anxiety, however Jen and I are trying to travel a little as Erin Watt. We don't have any immediate plans to go to the UK, but would love to!

It's a little bit of both. :) Some things are inspired by news articles, people I meet, or situations that my friends find themselves in. Other ideas are just fun things I think up when working on book ideas.

I love the Outlaw series. Do have an idea as to when you are going to write the rest of that series? Thanks

First all of all I’m a huge fan of your Off Campus series. I read the books several times and never get tired of them :)
My question is: What was the hardest book you wrote?

My favorite genre these days is New Adult--I just have so much fun writing college-aged characters. The hardest is definitely romantic suspense--SO much research goes into those books!

I always knew it’s what I wanted to do, since I was a child. I guess you can say I just put my mind to it until it happened!

Not inspiration so much as mood. Music is a good motivator, but it doesn’t really inspire what I write, just the feeling of “I got this!”. There's no way I can pick a favorite song!! There are too many.

-Wanderlust, by Danielle Steel. The characters in that book are larger than life, and the various settings are amazing. I take it with me every time I travel.

I love legal thrillers, but I could never write one. So much research and knowledge required!!

Stephen King, to pick his brain.

P.S. I love your Off-Campus series and I can't wait for its spin-off series <3"
I love writing scenes where my characters are bantering. So in The Deal, any scene with Garrett and Hannah bickering is my favorite :)

Noelle from Killer Instincts. She is the baddest, craziest bitch in the world, ice cold and yet with a soft interior you'd never expect. She's so kickass.

Danielle Steel! Her books were the first romances I read. I've loved her for AGES and have destroyed (and had to repurchase) the same books from her over and over.

Nope! I actually require complete silence. Soundproof writing cave…

I’m probably less excited and more nervous about both. The Chase has a lot of buzz and excitement, so I feel like there’s already a lot of expectation. Cracked Kingdom has people waiting on the edge of their seats, but anything with a cliffhanger is tricky because people already have their ideas of what should happen. I think I’m going to just cross my fingers and wish for the best LOL
Nothing ever beats “the first”. That’s really a feeling of “OMG IT’S REALLY HAPPENING!”, but every time I release a book I still get the jitters. At the end of the day you’re putting something you poured yourself into off into the world, and that is always scary (and exciting, but more scary).

I love the Outlaw series. Do have an idea as to when you are going to write the rest of that series? Thanks"
I don't have any immediate plans to go back to that series, I am busy focusing on the Briar hockey team! :)

I am writing a spin off series that will focus on the other guys on the Briar Hockey team.

It depends. For guy names, I usually pick ones I think are sexy :) Sometimes they're inspired by names I see in articles or celebrities, but usually it's just names I think are fun, cute, sexy, etc.
