Anthony DeRosa | 97 comments It looks like I am going to finish up 2017 with 22 books read. I had quite a dry spell this summer that held me back. I am shooting for 25 in 2018. I have a want-to-read list that I curate quite regularly. should keep me busy all year.

This is my first challenge with this group. It looks like a big group of people happy to motivate others for success. I am looking forward to updating my progress and keeping an eye on everyone else's.

You are definitely right about the people in this group. 2017 was my first year in this group and in my experience everybody is super nice, always willing to help and ready to encourage you.

Sounds like you have set your goal. Good luck and happy reading!

Lisa Grønsund | 6163 comments Welcome to the group, Anthony! It is indeed a great group that helps and encourages everyone :) Will you be joining any of the challenges? I definitely recommend the buddy reads and group reads to motivate you when those dreaded reading slumps hit!

I look forward to seeing what you'll be reading throughout the year. Best of luck! :)

Blagica | 12941 comments Awesome job so far Anthony! Do you prefer to listen to books?

message 9: by Anthony (new)

Anthony DeRosa | 97 comments Thank you Blagica. I do not prefer it, but I have a 45 minutes to an hour commute to work each day. That gives me close to 2 hours a day I can listen to audio books. It allows to get more books completed. I try to listen to books that I didn't have on my TBR list to mix things up.
