Ariel C (missarielc) | 10 comments Mostly its to show appreciation of literary talent and all the hard work authors put in to their writing.
It can be so hard for independent authors to stand out- without any access to the media contacts & PR teams that all the large publishing imprints have at their disposal.
Reviews, book bloggers, social media posts and even book recommendations to family & friends can have a tremendous impact in building awareness of a new author and gradually increasing ebook sales.

Al (areadsss) I enjoy writing book reviews, because it is a way for me to express how I feel about a book after I've finished reading it. When it is a great book, I always hope others will pick it up if they read my positive review, and when it is not a so great book I like to express my disappointment (and rant) in a book review too XD
