Hey there!

This thread is something rather serious. It has come to my notice, that since the past few days, one member is making abusive, indecent comments excessively. Even though a warning and a request was sent to the entire group to stop this, the member paid no heed and went on posting such comments so much so, that I've seen a few fights occur in this forum too:(

So, as a deterrent to future such occurrences, and to show that all this is not going unnoticed, I've blocked this member from the group. I'm not taking any names here, but I'm sure most of you who are active knows who I'm talking about. I've had enough member complaints and I thought to put an end to it.

So, anyway, hope this gives out a clear message of avoiding such comments. We're just a group of readers who are here to discuss books and let's just keep it that way.

Thanks for taking a stand. Some of us really like to read the interactions between readers because we're too shy to actually join. It's just who I am. There's no need for people not to be respectful. I've found some great reads with the help of people sharing and hope that continues. Great work Ruchi! Speaking passionately about a subject is awesome. If your vocabulary is a little rough...read some more books to increase it.

This is the first discussion I saw when I joined the group, and I already think I'm going to like it here. Glad the admin is taking a stand and keeping the book club clean!

Cliques and drama queens, Fong. They hate me. I've been booted from six, reinstated in two. I've had to start a spreadsheet to keep track. But throughout it all, the fact is I've never so much as uttered one expletive to another Goodreads member. Go figure.

That is so weird, not you. Those cliques and drama queens. I hate that they think they are superior to the other people even if those people are not offensive
