Audrey | 22 comments I was having a hard time getting back into reading and set myself a goal of only 1 book a month. Surprisingly I met my goal and read 24 books in the year so far!

I will keep my goal at 12 books for the year but will set some personal goals so I can stay on track.

***Revised***
1 book every 2 weeks for a total of 24 books.

Congratulations on surpassing your goal this year Audrey!
What kind of personal goals are you thinking on setting for yourself next year?

I will be giving myself a daily goal. That way if I start to fall behind I'll catch up again. I don't think I'll have a problem reaching 24 books again but I'm hesitant to set it that high just in case I don't make it! Maybe I'll change it to 20. 12 seems low. lol

A daily goal like x pages a day?
Maybe you can start out with 1.5 book a month, so 18 for 2018? Although 20 sounds doable too. And hey, it's just a goal, no harm done if you don't completely reach it. As long as you have fun along the way :)

Lisa Grønsund | 6163 comments 12 books is a great goal, Audrey! So is 24, ofcourse! But the point is that you enjoy the process of reading without stressing out over whether or not you reach a numerical goal :)

Good luck with your goal and happy reading!

Audrey | 22 comments I have revised my reading goal for 2018. I've had periods where I will read 4-5 books in a month then a few months where I only read 1 or even no books. Therefore my goal is to read 1 book ever 2 weeks for a total of 24 book this year. I think this will work better or me because my goal is really to read consistently rather than chasing a number. I completed 28 this year.

Wishing you the best of luck with your goal Audrey & a very happy reading/New Year!
