I'm not totally satisfied. This book captured me, but I think it's too "full", there are too many episodes in order to offer a complete vision of the historic period, but they often result separated from the rest of the novel. Main characters look stereotypical, without any chances to improve or correct their mistakes. McLeod is a good writer, or I wouldn't have read this book in three days, but I wanted something more.
