Diana Stormblessed (dashichka) | 5377 comments lol, ok good. Then I'll start tomorrow, too :-)

Daniel | 1534 comments Well so be it...wonder if the somewhat lame plotting finally got to everyone?

Diana Stormblessed (dashichka) | 5377 comments lol, if it wasn't such a short and easy read I'd have probably given up on it, too

Anni | 5066 comments I bow out on this for now, because I haven't enough time to read with my thesis and all. But I hope to catch up later and read the other books with you ;)

This was probably the most annoying one to date, with my more critical eye...

No problem... I've been absent a lot lately, and then I show up HARD and comment like 100x in 2 hours to catch up or something... at least on threads with 3-4 pages of things to respond to...

Diana Stormblessed (dashichka) | 5377 comments Finished. I don't know. I'm getting bored by this series. It's such a random mishmash. I can't feel connected because it's just all over the place.

I do have to say, re-reading the whole thing with you guys has dwindled my enthusiasm about the new book this year, which I've been waiting to read until I finish this re-read...

Book 7 is a Clive Ronan book... then book 8 is a "timey-wimey" book with overlapping timelines...

message 19: by Sha (new)

Sha | 1522 comments Eh. Honestly I'm here for the history data and historian hijinks. I mostly ignore the plot.

Book 8 is a bit depressing... which is why I can't believe I've waited so long to read book 9, since book 8 was the most cliffhangery book of the series, I think...
