I bow out on this for now, because I haven't enough time to read with my thesis and all. But I hope to catch up later and read the other books with you ;)

This was probably the most annoying one to date, with my more critical eye...

No problem... I've been absent a lot lately, and then I show up HARD and comment like 100x in 2 hours to catch up or something... at least on threads with 3-4 pages of things to respond to...

Finished. I don't know. I'm getting bored by this series. It's such a random mishmash. I can't feel connected because it's just all over the place.

I do have to say, re-reading the whole thing with you guys has dwindled my enthusiasm about the new book this year, which I've been waiting to read until I finish this re-read...

Book 7 is a Clive Ronan book... then book 8 is a "timey-wimey" book with overlapping timelines...

Eh. Honestly I'm here for the history data and historian hijinks. I mostly ignore the plot.

Book 8 is a bit depressing... which is why I can't believe I've waited so long to read book 9, since book 8 was the most cliffhangery book of the series, I think...
