I may do like I did last year and pick some self-defined challenges (like reading x number of books I already own; x number of books that are in series that I've previously started etc.) with a smattering from Pop Sugar, Book Riot and the like.

I haven't really decided what I'm going to do. Maybe I'll win the lottery quit my job and read all day and do all of them!
I joined a group here on goodreads called "A Book For All Seasons" that runs 4 mini challenges per year (one for each season/equinox) Here are the tasks for this quarter (12/21-3/20)
Topic 1: A book in a Series (not the first one)
Topic 2: A book set in or written by an author on the opposite hemisphere
Topic 3: A book set during a revolution
Topic 4: A book with a title or and Author's name that starts with Q, X or Z
Topic 5: The first chapter book you read as a kid
