Sounds like a plan, Nicole. If it runs over a few days, I think that'd be okay. I'm good either way. Maybe just let it take its course? How about the rest of the participating PI's?
Downloaded my copy tonight but will get to it tomorrow. After getting a gander at those book prices, yikes, I was happy for Kindle. lol

I am well into the book, and going past Christmas Day will be fine with me! Thanks for taking the helm, Nicole!

I'm just to get started NicoleG and still you'll push past me. No rush, we are great and actually pretty much on schedule. ;-)
I know I've read a number of the Holiday Pennyfoot stories (there are a number of non-holiday ones as well, though I haven't read any of them.) I've also read them out of order, so it is tough for me to gauge where we are in the series, with this book.
Cecily and Baxter are married, but just married. They were away from the hotel apparently but are back to run it temporarily, given that the previous manager just died, accidentally or otherwise. Cecily is intent on investigation and Baxter is intent on trying to dissuade all of that. Though he appears strong, Cecily seems to be defeating him every time he tries!

I too read a few of the Pennyfoot books and missed a few in between. I had no idea they sold the hotel but I see they are returning. Anyway, it'll be a nice reunion 'tween the PI's, Cecily, hubby and probably sister and so forth.
If "Hugh" didn't want to go back, Cecily should've bucked the system and gone herself. Or maybe with a trusted companion. ;-)
Hugh appears bluff, but nearly always give in to Cecily. Not sure if that is good or bad...
I'm at 56% through the book. Kindle helps keep me apprised of my progress!
