Weekly Check-In: If you could be transported to the setting of the book you are reading, where would you be?

I am in Lost River, Alabama, described as "Deep in the Southernmost part of Alabama, along the banks of a lazy winding river, lies the sleeping little community known as Lost River, a place that time itself seems to have forgotten."

I would be in North Washington, U.S.A., at a college. I'd probably be on the nearby mountain, trying to get someone to teach me how to snowboard, and then fail spectacularly at it, but hopefully have fun.
