www.bookride.com scroll down the right hand side of the screen for book links galore. (right under blog archive.)
www.mysteryscenemag.com has a wealth of author websites. On the left hand side of the screne click on Links.
www.iblist.com this is titled Internet Book List. On the left hand side of the screen you can click on Books, Authors, or Series. You can play around with this and get all kinds of info. If you are looking for cozy mystery series on the left go down to Series, click on Genre, then choose Fiction in the drop down box, then choose Crime and Mystery in the next drop down box, and last choose Mystery in the next drop down box and that takes you to Cozy series. By no means does it give you a comprehensive list but it might list some that you don't have. You can go through the same process by author's name, clicking on Genre and going through pretty much the same series of choices that you do for Series.
www.librarything.com this book site has hundreds of different things on it. In some ways similar to Goodreads.
www.murderati.com this is a group blog about mysteries, murder and marketing.
www.noveltalk.com is a community for authors and readers. Seems to be mostly intrigue and romance. If you want to take a break from cozies perhaps you can find something here.
www.ilovelibraries.org
http://www.huntressreviews.com/ has many many author websites listed.
www.myshelf.com among other things check out their holiday reading lists.
Hope this brings some new websites to you and some new resources to find your next new cozy.

This site has lots of information about books and authors. If you click on Book Reviews (on the right hand side of the page) there are 836 mystery book reviews. Altogether there are 5380 reviews on this site. Fantastic amount of information.

However one nice thing about the site is that if the author has a website it is listed under personal information.
For the national website go to:
http://www.mysterywriters.org/
And for the Southwest Chapter go to:
http://www.mwasw.org/
Then click on members.

Novelists Inc--The international organization of multi-published authors.
http://www.ninc.com/
Then click on Our Members/Member Links
This isn't just mystery authors but it is really cool. I picked the letter M and scanned down the list of authors. I noticed that many of the authors had multiple listings so I picked Emilie Richards McGee and clicked on one of the listings. It took me to a website. So I clicked on the other one and it took me to a different website (but still for her). I about wet myself because I hovered over the word Books and well, rather than tell you what happens go check it out yourself. It is the first listing for Emilie and you go to http://ministryismurder.com/ (in case you don't want to go through the whole rigamarole of going through NINC just go to Ministry Is Murder).

Here is one more site I just found that has loads of mystery info:
http://www.murderexpress.net/ when you get there do one of two things:
1. click on enter and you get taken to the Authors page. Many many authors are listed. Click on any one of them and it will take you to a page about that author with books listed. If the author has a webpage it will say Visit (Author's name) Website.
Or if you want you can go to the bottom of the page (before clicking on enter) and there is a link that says LIST SITES. If you click on that you will go to a page that lists 59 other mystery reader sites.
You can also go across the top of the Mystery Reader sites and click on Directory. That gives you all kind of sites to link to but not necessarily book sites. If you choose the one that says Books and Writing you will go to another list of many more sites.
Happy reading.

www.wheredunnit.com --lists books by location of the story--has both US and international. I found some new to me authors for Ohio I am especially interested in looking into Paul L. Gaus's books who writes Ohio Amish mysteries. I guess I need to go put his name over on the male/female cozy topic.
http://holidaymurders.bravehost.com For those of you that like to read books with a holiday theme at certain parts of the year.
www.mysteryreaders.org --the website for Mystery Readers International--MRI is the largest mystery fan/reader organization in the world, is open to all readers, fans, critics, editors, publishers, and writers.
Lots of good info, enjoy.
"Here's a site to die for...if you love mystery books! Stop, You're Killing Me! has title lists of your favorite mystery authors and series characters."

I was just checking to see if this was listed. They have the authors web sites listed if they know them. Also great series lists.

The SYKM me site sends out two monthly newsletters. One usually lists new authors/characters added, the other new titles for the month in hardcover, paperback and large print -- and it tells what number a book is if part of a series, which is always useful.

will take you to the pseudonym page but if you look at the left hand column there is all kinds of things you can search on. I don't know how accurate the site is as I just found it but it looks like it could be quite helpful.

What I specifically want to mention is the contests/ giveaways. You can get to that directly by going here:
http://freshfiction.com/contests.php
I took a few minutes and signed up for quite a few. The neat thing is that many of the giveaways are for more than a book. Quite a few have gift certificates or other prizes. Be careful about the dates--although most are for January 30th there is one that I looked at that expired yesterday (darn it).
If anyone wins anything, let us know.

www.who-dunnit.com (has a great number of links but I found some of them to be quite dated.)

www.fictfact.com
Here is their lead: Dedicated to helping you read fiction book series in order. Easily find out which book is next with a custom list based on your favorite series!
This is not just mysteries, it is all kinds of books that are in a series. Has an extensive calendar of releases. You can scroll from month to month. (FYI: The books are listed below the month on the calendar.)

I found a new to me site today that I want to kick this topic off with. It is at:
http://www.sldirectory.com/libsf/book...
This site has dozens and dozens of references to other places to find mysteries. I haven't fully explored it yet but it could keep all of us busy with new to us books and authors for a long time to come.
