I'll do a shallow read — just one book. This may be the most beautiful cover I've ever seen. In a nice coincidence, I was given it as a Christmas gift (recommended by the bookseller) just a week or so after adding it to my TBR.
The City of Brass by S.A. Chakraborty

But here's the pretty cover again! :)

It's ok Beth, there's always next month.
I know what you mean about reading on kindle vs. paper. I did have that problem too this year!

Well I at least got one in so that counts :D I doubt I can read the second book I was going for by tomorrow but oh well! I'll try for two again next month.

It was an incredible collection though, and gave me so many wonderful women to read up on. The illustrations inside were just as gorgeous as the cover, highly recommend!
