Shar I set a goal of 26 books in 2017. I am half way through my 26th book, and this is with having the life changing event of having a baby in June 2017.

I'm going to up the challenge to 32 for this upcoming year.

I've been deliberating and deliberating on what my goal for 2018 will be for that same reason, but now it's been set at a very tentative 40 books.... But we'll seee...
Good luck with your goal in the year to come :)

Shar Thank you! Now that my baby naps in her crib, and not on me, it feels like I've been given more hours in the day! :-D

I think I can read more, but 32 is realistic.

Shar Thank you! I did get lost in some pages! I was introduced to The Wayward Children series, and I'm enjoying it much more than I expected.

How about you?

message 10: by Shar (new)

Shar It is going great! January and February has been pretty good too. I live in the Portland, OR area, so the weather has been gray and dreary. I've been staying indoors more often.

How's your March shaping up to be?

message 11: by Blagica , Challenges (new)

Blagica | 12942 comments I have 6 reviews to do but I keep reading so I am hoping march will be a catch up month.

Blagica | 12942 comments A book is a dream that you hold in your hand. I hope that April brings you many more five star reads. Do you have a stand out book so far this year?

message 13: by Shar (new)

Shar Hello! I had a couple stand out books this year.
1) Every Heart A Doorway by Seanan McGuire

2) The Dispatcher by John Scalzi

I was pleasantly surprised that both of these held my attention every page.

Do you have any standout books?
