What went through your mind when you found out that Reyes was kidnapped by the Fosters from his true family in North Carolina?

Crystal Melloh | 6 comments How much bad luck can he have? He had a plan to be born into this world and be raised around Charley. Then aome low lives come and snatch him away and he ends up with a pig of a father. I wonder how different Reyes would have been if his plan would have worked?

Whoa, which begs the big question, is there a Higher Power at work behind the scenes that made sure it didn't work, that things happened just as they did for a reason? *slaps forehead* That's right, Darynda is the HP manipulating these characters . . . I confuzzes myself.

Lissa (lissagarcia95) | 1 comments This brings to mind the novel Lightning by Dean Koontz. Destin Gibbs a way to reassert itself . Reyes had one plan for his upbringing, yet things kept changing. The question here is, what is trying to fix itself? Reyes still ended up in her life, through crazy convoluted means. Love that the resolution isn't so obvious or predictable!

Lea (Between fantasy and reality) (lenareve) | 8 comments After everything that happened to him, I was just depressed how so much bad can happen to someone.

Though he had a hard road, maybe the way his life turned out made him appreciate having Charley in his life and shows that he is worthy of being with her. Maybe it wouldn't have ended well if Charley was just "handed" to him because he wanted her.

Oh I love this idea - is there a power trying to keep them apart - and perhaps it is his "dad" because something worse may happen to him if Reyes and Charley "get together" (and boy have they gotten together already)

I felt so sad for him and honestly for the family that lost their son.

Suzan (suzi1811) | 42 comments I felt sad for him and for the family that lost him, his life could have been so different if he hadn't been taken from them and then sold to that monster that abused him. I also was a little shocked as well. It could be higher powers trying to keep them apart but what powers and for what reason? I don't think God would interfere as it would go against his gift of free will and given what Reyes was put through I'd be inclined to think it was someone like his father wanting to hurt him. Of course it could also be testing him? Or making sure they didn't meet too soon?

I agree with you Suzan...that's what I'm thinking too.

That was crazy. What the hell was up with the Fosters? Did they kidnap the other kid? What kind of crazy ass people were they?

I love your thought Kyra! Reyes appreciates Charley more because he had to wait and work for her instead of just receiving her on a "silver platter" as planned.

Makes one wonder who the other Foster kid really is? Where did he come from? Who are the Fosters, really?

I agree a higher power may be trying to keep them apart but they are meant to be together and no one can prevent them from being together.

Mel | 829 comments Oh, I forgot to mention that I simply wanted to cry for Reyes and all he went through as a child. It SUCKED!!! Some possible redemption and growth opportunity for all his sins as the Son of Satan?

Angie Bee | 59 comments I kept thinking not again. How much bad luck can one person have?
