Last January, I pressed the "publish" button and ended the 2-year process of researching and writing my first science fiction book. It's a present-day sci-fi technothriller in the vein of Michael Crichton with a long kiss from H.P. Lovecraft, my two favorite science fiction authors. So far, it's been getting decent reviews, which surprises me because there are elements in it outside the monsters, adventure, and conspiracy that (IMHO) are science-thick and I wasn't sure that I could convey in a non-bland or headache-inducing way. Maybe my 20 years experience teaching Elementary-aged children helped there. LOL
Anyway, here it is. This is my initial effort, free if you're sub'd to KU:
_Shift: A thriller of multiple dimensions.
