The Reading Challenge Group discussion

It's so easy to start series, but not so easy to finish them, even when it's a series you really enjoy. For those of you who need a little push to the end, let's cross the finish line together.

State your personal goal for how many series you hope to complete this year. We're counting series here, not books, and only the final book counts. (See the Cereal Numbers challenge for help making progress on those longer series that you may not finish this year.)

Tiffany, you can sign up for any of our challenges whenever you want.
It won't be too late until 2019. 😉 There are no restrictions for our year long challenges, including Bookopoly, and the others have the dates listed for when they are active.

I have finished 3 series so far this year. I did finish DearS with volume 8, as well as reading the second and final book in Ellen Hopkin's Bruned duology , Smoke as well as Traffick, the final book in her Tricks duology

I've finished another- Harley Quinn. This is the first comic series about her. It was pretty good, about the same as New 52, just with a bit less crazy.

I have a dumb question, do we have to have read the entire series this year? Like if I read one of the books last year, and the rest this year, would that count?

As I see in earlier comments, you do not need to read the entire series this year, just the last book in the series.

This year I would like to finally finish the All Souls trilogy by Deborah Harkness, the Mortal Instruments series by Cassandra Clare, and maybe the Old Kingdom series by Garth Nix.

That's right, you only have to read the last book for this challenge.
