I'm so sorry that I have not written you. Recovery took me a little longer than I expected. Do you want to maybe make this buddy read for August or we can just go ahead and start this week and continue to post in this thread?

It's totally fine, I was gone at a horse camp anyway for a week and just got back Friday, had no internet service. Yeah, we should save it for August, I'll post in the sign up and ask to keep it open (:

Sounds great, I'll stop by the library and pick the book up today.

I read the first story, Hearken, today only to realize I had already read it. Luckily, I really enjoyed it both times so that is okay. I find that the premise of this short story is so unique and intriguing. Could you imagine hearing every person's death song? I really enjoy the way Veronica Roth thinks. I can't wait to see what she comes out with next.
I am about 1/3 of the way into Kelley Armstrong's Branded, and enjoying it so far. I could have guessed that her story would include Werewolves. lol

Finally got to starting this! Finished the first story. I love the original concept of the story, its so great, like a breath of fresh air. I really liked it. Starting the next story soon

Did you finish Branded? I am a big fan of Kelly Armstrong, and feel as though I was not let down by this short story. There are several twists and turns, which is hard in something so short.
I don't know how far you are so I don't want to reveal anything. I'm halfway through Dogsbody.

Yes, I finished it and it was SO good! I also finished Necklace of Tears and absolutely loved it too! I haven't been let down by any of these stories yet

I thought Necklace of Tears was such an original idea. I loved the ending! I felt so hopeful when I read that.

I have a bad feeling so far about what is happening in Dogsbody. Looking forward to finding out what is going on.
