All are great! Hope you enjoy them.

Robin | 32 comments I'm currently reading Tigana. Anyone else read it? It is taking me a longer to read it than most fantasy I read, but I'm still curious enough to see what happens.

Tigana was a good stand alone fantasy. I encourage you to read to the end.

That was my introduction to GGK and I loved it.

I struggled a bit around 40%. It had more to do with personals problems than the book though, I think.
I haven't read another novel by GGK. Any suggestion, people? :)

Finished His Majesty's Dragon. I really loved it, Temeraire is such a great character. It was a bit odd to read a book where the French are the big bad guys though. I was cheering for them half the time before realizing the MC is on the other side of the war.

Currently reading:
- Good Omens: The Nice and Accurate Prophecies of Agnes Nutter, Witch in audio. I'm around 70% and finding it hilarious.
- Kraken in audio. Barely read the synopsis, first time reading Miéville, I'm not sure what to expect.
- An Echo of Things to Come in ebook. I believe it'll be a slow read.
- The Clan of the Cave Bear in ebook, for a change of pace with Licanius.
- Watchmen on the side, a chapter once in a while.

Before joining GR (and this group), I only read one book and one series at a time. I now have 12 incomplete series, and plan to start 5 others soon. *sigh*
I'm hopeless ^^"

I'd never heard of this book before. It looked good and I've included it in my TBR list.

I've liked them all, but if I had to choose, maybe The Lions of Al-Rassan or Under Heaven or his latest, Children of Earth and Sky. He mostly writes standalones (although many of them are set on the same world at various points in its history), so you can generally skip around.

Janette | 211 comments I'm currently reading Fortress of Eagles. I read the first one but wasn't sure whether I liked it or not. I'm still not sure. The writing style is very different and it seems to take a long while for things to happen.

Tad (tottman) | 68 comments I'm reading an ARC of The Wolf The Wolf (Under the Northern Sky #1) by Leo Carew by Leo Carew and really enjoying it. This is a debut author but with some serious writing chops. I'm really connecting with the characters so far.

Janette | 211 comments I am just starting The Crown Tower by Michael Sullivan. I read Heir to Novron years ago but never read any of the later books. After reading comments on here,I thought I would give him another try

I have to say these are some of my favorite books. The humor is from the banter between the main characters is just great. I would recommend the audio version.

Elise (ghostgurl) | 1028 comments Finished Ready Player One last night. Great, fun, page turning read, and it's nice to have geeks be the heroes for once.

Now I'm reading book two of the Southern Reach trilogy, Authority.
