Which of these titles, From the Library, tempts you?

There are a few books I want to re-read from the first page (Legend & A Discovery of Witches)... for some reason, I'm in the re-read mood this year :)

Looking to pick up some ScatterShelves titles, I think, possibly

On the Jellicoe Road
Champion
Frostbite

I am thinking
Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children
The Hunger Games
and Divergent

Why buy a series if you don't know if you'll like it ?

There are a few more, and I've got to see what there is from the 1001 list that I don't have already that I can borrow ...

That was what I thought when I checked it out Gemma, so many that I want to read ( but aren't on my TBR list ! ). So many books that I want to catch up with because I am so far behind.

Just finished Life of Pi. Interesting, still not sure how I feel about it.

I, too, thought Life of Pi was interesting, but I did not care for it at all. :(

Here are the ones on my TBR-2014 list:

Inkheart
The Passage
both of which I own, and :
The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-Time Indian, which I might actually get "from the library"

Lyn, Inkheart is another one of those books that I want to read but isn't on my TBR list.

There really are just too many books and not enough time *sigh*

ooh, Lyn M, you have to pick up The Passage! Awesome book! The second book, The Twelve, was also as epic!

First two that I have set aside for this challenge are:
Brain on Fire: My Month of Madness and This is Where I Leave You
I'd like to add If I Stay and Love Letters to the Deadif it works out

I've got Warm Bodies coming on audio from the library already, so that worked out well. I'll probably work in Of Mice and Men on vacation, too.

On my SHELF this month so far . . .

. . . that is if I don't read them by the end of July.

I've been MIA for a very long time and have been adding to Mt TBR but not reading much. I'm ready to get back. That being said, I'm going to read what I already have and am shooting for:
Inkheart
Maus I: A Survivor's Tale: My Father Bleeds History
Maus, Vol. 2: And Here My Troubles Began

I'm not one for graphic novels, wish me luck...

Good luck, Lynlee! I don't think you'll need it, though. Maus is pretty amazing.

I'm limiting myself to books I already own or I can get from the library at the moment, so this month works very well for me!

I have been wanting to get to it ever since it came out. Need to bump it up.

For now I have decided to read A Game of Thrones and In Cold Blood. I might add more books as the month goes by.

Lyndi - In Cold Blood is one of my favorites.

I will be reading The Road this month. Still reading 11-22-63 from last month so I am a little behind!

Matt - That is a HUGE book so I can understand how you are still reading it! How are you liking it so far? I am about halfway through and I really love it.

Yes it is huge! Plus July was a busy month! I loved this book and am about half way through as well. King is my favorite author, and so far this is one of my favorites.

I love the way he tells a story...no one does a better job in my mind. Unfortunately am a wuss when it comes to horror books, so I have to be really careful what I read by him, but everything I have read I have loved.

For the month of August I will be reading A Game of Thrones.
