I'm reading The Unconsoled for a book club right now, so that can cover K. Beyond that, I'll have to sift through my reading list in the morning. Are either of you currently reading anything that might fit?

Nice one Erie! I've sent PMs to Nadia and Beth ; and Nadia did tell me earlier today she would still like to join a team so hopefully you shall see them soon (and maybe even have some new team members too!)

Brilliant, thank you so much! Ooo, hopefully. I think we'll be okay if no one can be found, but a few more people would be lovely just in case.

I'll be done in about half an hour or so barring some terrible monster pulling me away to be a productive member of society, so we can use that for one of our 'C's and the genre-specific bonus.

I also searched out a list of chick lit pinch hitters I can read if we're in need of a letter or two. Just say the word. ^-^

I've just realised that is by Leslie O'Kane. It's fairly short and, so far, charmingly written, so I could probably manage to finish it by some time tonight if we still need an 'L' by then.

Hi Beth,
For maximum points, you only need to read one book of the genre within the team for the week which Erie has done.

So now you need to try and spell out your word. Looks like you need a H,C,2xI,L and T
Any books you have read since July 12 until the deadline this week will count.
Spell it out works as follows:
Spell out the word(s) using the first letter in the book's title, the first letter in the author's first or last name, the first letter in the series name, or the first letter of a character's first, last, or nick-name. As always, if the first letter of a title starts with an indefinite or definite article ('A', 'An', 'The', etc.), you may use the first letter of the second word in the title to spell out your chosen word. If your book starts with a number (e.g. 24 Bones) use the number to determine the first letter (in this example, it would be T)
