so for when i finish it Broken Homes is 2 minutes shorter on audio and has 357 pages so I reckon around 350 pages is about right for Apprentice - Scarlet City - Part I: An Audible Original Drama

I read in one of the question threads that any audiobook over 3hrs in length are valid of this challenge. So your book will work. I'll look into how we are to record it since it doesn't have a cooresponding "default" physical book.

It should cover a 2 Yellow card."
Lovely! We are doing well with the coloured cards

I never watched the show, but really enjoyed the book!

Can one of you magic people check to see if

I saved the show on my tv when it first aired but promised myself I would finish the book first, thus I still haven't seen the show.

Can one of you magic people check to see if

Tineye Labs says it is 66% green with no blue at all. (looks blue to me too...)

I noticed that in hand 3 (I think) Marie’s Book, To Catch a Storm, is in the 6 card spot and the reason was Title. I think it is an error because the title starts with T, that’s a 2.
Not trying to be nitpicky, just trying to be helpful.

Thanks for checking! I was ment to write author but clearly got distracted by a 2 card haha

we did this book for real life book club - I listened to it on audio and it was AWFUL the narration just did nothing to help something that i found a bit dreary but there are books by Attwood that i have loved. The Penelopiad is fabulous

I think he is my modern day agatha christie and I so love Lady Hardcastle and Flo

this would be perfect! (I still checked in with the other (co) captains to make sure it actually counts for a blue card. the colour map regions don't make any sense to me for this one. the clouds are definitely not all blue. sigh.)

Thanks guys :). It was a good trip (we are on our way home now). We did an early valentines weekend since we will both work on actual Valentine’s Day and both work evenings/nights.

I started a book that fits 4 Blue, but we need to fill the WD4 anyway :) have a lookout if yours might fit a card 7 blue as we till need one of those as well. Mine doesn't so far :(

It does cover 7 Blue!

I just noticed on my feed that you are reading The Power. That is on my list as well, so I will be curious to know what you think. But, the reason I bring this up, is that my copy has a bright red cover, while yours seems to be white-ish. For the purposes of this challenge, can a different edition count toward a colored card, or is that a cheat? I am not suggesting breaking any rules, I am just curious.

Awesome! We can use yours for that slot :)

Oh yeah I just chose any without really looking. So the one with the Hand + red background is 70% red BUT I don't know if it'll fit a card 1 or 3, will have to read it first :)

@jenny do you have The Power (this one counts) or this The Power (this one doesn't as it's only 47% red -.-)

Yes that's the one with 70% red :) it'll be fine. I'm not far with reading, but so far it doesn't fit card 1 or 3

if you want to read it any time soon I suggest you wait for March (or April) in case we could need it for another Red card since it most likely won't fit this month. if that's okay with you :)

I suggest making an effort to read at least a couple of pages each day/night, that's what I do even if I don't feel like it. it most likely will get you into it in the end, or it will tire you and help you fall asleep, and this way you're at least making a tiny bit of progress :)
EDIT: the audiobook would work for a Blue card! if you find some F or V characters /places etc. :)
/// on Sunday I started reading Die Sünderin
(The Sinner). not sure if it's the way it's written, or generally that it's in german, but I haven't really gotten into yet and I put it away for now...
then I started Close to Home which I quite enjoy though :)
