Tina (teanah) | 55 comments Uhm. Some planning jibber jabber. Mostly trying to read through the mountain of books I already own. Trying not to buy books. Hmmm. Ok. Next post will be for the TBR challenge list, I’ll update that post as it’s read and the owner books points will be added up with new posts as books are read. Yep, planning.

I'm sure lots of these will change, but this is the plan:
(Strikethrough when completed

1. The 13th book Seed to Harvest
2. A book written by a young buck or geezer Deep River Night (Author in 70s when written) Jan 12
3. A book with humor or horror Funny Horror
4. 300-350 pages Nelvana of the Northern Lights or Rules of Civility
5. A book that reminds you of home (Swan Song - preordered/kickstarter comic anthology)
6. Suns, skies, stars, or planets on the cover Contact (I bought it back when the movie came out and still haven't read it)
7. Chosen for the cover We're All in This Together by Amy Jones
8. "Missed it by that much" - a book you really wanted to read but didn't have time for Moonshot: The Indigenous Comics Collection, Volume 1
9. Based on the blurb or blerg Bellevue Square
10. A non-U.S. or UK publication/setting The Queue (Jan 17)
11. Gold on the cover, in the title, or in the author's name The Girl with All the Gifts
12. A book with a vehicle on the cover, from a carriage to a spaceship Leviathan Wakes or Ancillary Justice read both lol
13. An author's debut novel (maybe Old Man's War)
14. Make a list of 5-7 books and use "Eeny Meeny Miny Moe" to choose one (I'll do this part way through the year when I know what my TBR list looks like)
15. A book from a genre that's outside your comfort zone (?? maybe a government report)
16. A book with a mystery or romance Lake on the Mountain
17. Standalone novel (to many possibilities to list)
18. A book with a character you would marry, shag, or kill Smut Peddler Presents: My Monster Boyfriend
19. Read a genre-bender (???)
20. A book with an animal, vegetable, or mineral on the cover Elements: Fire
