Its a fantaxy romance book of course. Hes almost so old that people and othe (vampires?) Forget he was there. He falls in love and all that. He walks some girl home and she turns around then back around to him and still knew he was there, he was shocked.

Probably not The Silver Kiss?

Probably not, but one of the Dark Hunter (Sherrilyn Kenyon?) stories is about a guy cursed like that. They other dark hunters remember him, but one of the main characters (Archon) did a counter curse so that those humans of his bloodline (his brothers descendants) remember him. So they 'serve' him thru time, and their spouses are told about him, but 'meet' him everytime he walks back in the room. Then his h is from another 'species' that was cursed by Apollo to die at 28yo, and because they are supernatural too, she remembers him.

Thank y'all for responding! I downloaded samples of both. Unfortunately they are not the one I'm thinking of. It is similar to dark hunter.
I remember something about guys with green glowing eyes that try and attack her at first. He saves her. He walks her to up the front porch, she is thanking him turns around to unlock the door. He is expecting her to forget he was there, but instead turns back around to thank him and make another comment

Cliche; but I think it has a shirtless guy on the paperback cover.. Could be a red cover mainly. Might be getting confused

The daimons in the Dark Hunter series have golden eyes. The one with the forgettable hero is Kiss of the Night.
