Yes. I added it to the spreadsheet.

message 674: by Nicole (new)

Nicole P | 1834 comments Onto the next place: San Jose del Cabo in Mexico.

Spell-it-out again or should we try to read books set in Mexico or by Mexican authors?

message 675: by Sunshine (new)

Sunshine (sunshine22222) | 804 comments Either is find with me, but would prefer spell-it-out

message 676: by Kavitha (new)

Kavitha Sivakumar | 179 comments Either one is fine with me. I find a book by a Mexican author Octavio Paz. So if spell out, I will read for "O".

If we are doing spell out, we have to read 14 books... :)

message 677: by [deleted user] (new)

I personally prefer spell it outs

I’m reading a B book right now

message 678: by Tahmina (new)

Tahmina (tpopal) Hi guys. I won't be able to participate any longer in this group. But its been so much fun!

message 679: by Sunshine (new)

Sunshine (sunshine22222) | 804 comments Good Luck Tahmina.

I've set up the spread sheet for Spell-it-out and added a couple of books.

The detour is: Read a book with the word water, lake, pond, ocean or stream (plurals are acceptable) in the title

message 680: by Nicole (new)

Nicole P | 1834 comments I added two books to the spreadsheet :)

message 682: by [deleted user] (new)

I have added one book. I’m going one book at a time as I’m a slow reader

What is your favorite read for 2018...

Mine is They Both Die at the End by Adam Silvera

message 695: by Wolf (Alpha) (new)

Wolf (Alpha) | 167 comments I have no answer for that one. I read so many books, and I can't choose.

message 696: by Sophie, The other one (new)

Sophie (drsophie) | 5687 comments Mod
Good question Sunshine!

I've had to look back at the year of books GR made so I could remember what I read this year (can't believe I read more than 250 books this year!). My favourites were the Fitz and the Fool trilogy (starting with Fool's Assassin) which was a very satisfying end to a series I've loved for years.

More recently I loved A Day of Fire: A Novel of Pompeii which is a cleverly done anthology about Pompeii as Vesuvius erupts.

message 697: by Franziska (new)

Franziska (chaoschild) | 207 comments I am also still playing, I just missed all the posts in the last week. I will look what I can read for this task

Difficult to answer this question :) I have multiple favorites. The Heart's Invisible Furies by John Boyne , The Woman Who Smashed Codes A True Story of Love, Spies, and the Unlikely Heroine who Outwitted America's Enemies by Jason Fagone , A Fine Balance by Rohinton Mistry to name a few!
