Ouch! Really wrong time for the maintenance....

Nicole P | 1834 comments So hard to choose my favorite read from this year 😭 Just took a quicklook at my reading log spreadsheet and I gave 4 and 5 star ratings to all the books I read by Tessa Bailey, Gena Showalter and Nalini Singh. I also did a reread of Harry Potter from Book 1 - 5. Naturally those were given high ratings. A few Sandra Brown books as well Seeing Red by Sandra Brown Low Pressure by Sandra Brown and Tailspin by Sandra Brown

Then there were a few nonfiction books that I really, really enjoyed:
The Underground Girls of Kabul In Search of a Hidden Resistance in Afghanistan by Jenny Nordberg Eugene de Kock Assassin for the State by Anemari Jansen Saudi, Inc. The Arabian Kingdom's Pursuit of Profit and Power by Ellen R. Wald The Looting Machine Warlords, Oligarchs, Corporations, Smugglers, and the Theft of Africa's Wealth by Tom Burgis

I’ll be done with my A book in two to three days

message 704: by [deleted user] (new)

As I just finished my A book and started another it might be some time before I get to the book. If someone wants to read the letter sooner, that works too.

message 705: by Kavitha (new)

Kavitha Sivakumar | 179 comments Done :) updated the spreadsheet. We can move to the next leg.

Kavitha Sivakumar | 179 comments Why there are no points awarded/noted in the spreadsheet?

message 707: by Sunshine (new)

Sunshine (sunshine22222) | 804 comments What the.....
I’ll see if I can fix the points over the weekend.

Sunshine (sunshine22222) | 804 comments Next stop is
San Jose del Cabo (MX) - Boa Vista (BR)

Boa Vista is the capital of the Brazilian state of Roraima. Situated on the western bank of the Branco River, the city lies 220 km from Brazil's border with Venezuela. It is the only Brazilian state capital located entirely north of the equator.

message 709: by Sunshine (new)

Sunshine (sunshine22222) | 804 comments Should we spell it out or read a book or author from Brazil?

The detour: Read a book that has the birthstone Turquoise in the text or title

message 710: by Franziska (new)

Franziska (chaoschild) | 207 comments Boa Vista as spell-out would be nice. Or Brazil?

Sophie (drsophie) | 5687 comments Mod
More of us could get involved with Boa Vista.

All fixed....

message 713: by Nicole (new)

Nicole P | 1834 comments So are we doing the spell-it-out then?

message 714: by [deleted user] (new)

I would prefer the spell it out as my current book would work.

I've just added a couple of things to V and T. Am going to check the listopia for this stops task as well

message 728: by [deleted user] (new)

I'm also reading Purple Hibiscus for school. Guess I will bank these books if they don't fit.

message 729: by Sunshine (new)

Sunshine (sunshine22222) | 804 comments I just added books for B and A.

I can add a book for I, but don't want to claim it if someone is reading for this.
Let me know and we can move to Dakar

If we do spell-it-out for Dakar, it may be a quick one :)

message 730: by Nicole (new)

Nicole P | 1834 comments I added my 'I' book to the spreadsheet. So we are good to start the next one.
