I can recommend everything of Carlos Ruiz Zafon. It takes place in Barcelona and I love his books. The most popular is Shadow of the winds, which is really really good.

Is there a rule or detour for people who don't have a book that fits the challenge? Because I don't have one and I already bought a sh....load of books this month. Therefore I'm kind of on a budget right now. :(

I think we have to decide to take the detour as a group. So we are supposed to pick one option and go from there.

That's a bummer. I guess I have to go through all of my books, one by one, and check if there is one that fits the bill. This will take a while. I will let you guys know as soon as I'm done.

@Tahmina - I haven't read that book since high school. I hope I enjoy it now more than I did then! :P

I'm reading it with my sisters. I think my middle sister picked. We try to read one book a month so i am hoping that i enjoy it too!
