The book is set during the period of World War II. But much more than war story. 5 stars from me.

I've been reading this book off and on since November, so this put a kick to me to finish it, and I'm glad I did. A friend wrote it, so I gave it a 5 star, even though this is not the kind of book I generally pick up and love.
It was really interesting, though, and since I got so involved in US politics during 2016, I could see some parallels. Not in the way my friend who wrote it did, which is why I'm cool with giving it 5 stars. It's a political book, written in a way that anyone reading it can apply it to their own lives.
