What's the Name of That Book??? discussion

i read the book back when I was in elementary school but do not remember what it was about but it had an alien in a spaceship it was a small zoomed out picture of it though and the cover was grey/silver should be a kids book but might not be?

I was in elementary school in the early 2000’s I was actually in kindergarten when I saw the book so I’d say 2002-4 I don’t think it was extremely new but it could have been it was up for display but we got to read it I believe
