I mostly read YA fantasy, urban fantasy, dystopian, historical fiction and some contemporary.
I would love to meet new people who love reading as much as I do and who are not scared off by my awkwardness in front of the camera.

See you

I read Adult and Young Adult Sci-Fi, Fantasy, Dystopian and Urban Fantasy, Poetry, Historical Fiction with Magical Realism and my lighter reads of what I consider fluff between epics and high fantasy is Regency Romances.
If you are interested in coming over and checking out my channel I would love to have you. I do a one take, non-rehearsed and completely edited free videos with only the thumbnail being prepped. I really don't know what I'm doing but I am working on my comfort in front of the camera and it is so obvious...lol

I just started my YouTube channel in October, but I have been book blogging since 2011. I primarily read YA, and I love the paranormal/fantasy genre. I love to be active on all my platforms (Blog, Youtube, Instagram, Facebook, here) by always making sure to leave a comment when I can and always responding back to comments. My goal is to share my love of books and make more bookish friends.
You can check out my channel here: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC9uW...
Be sure to add me on here (or anywhere else) as I would love to chat!

I'm GenerallyPooky, I've been consistently making videos since last summer and am /just now/ trying to promote my channel. My genres of choice are young adult, new adult, romance, chick-lit, and fantasy.
My videos are all animations because I'm a shy penguin. I usually got a snarky tone (book spoilers and language warning too just to be safe), leaning more on the comedic side.

@Dann I love fantasy, sci-fi and pirates. I think we have similar reading tastes, even if we haven't read too many of the same books yet.
@Kyra I love your colourful setup, thumbnails and graphics. Your videos look amazing!
@Nicole I'm currently really into Russia "everything" as well. I'm most of the way through Doctor Zhivago right now. I look forward to when you start putting out your own content! I'm not sure about recording, but I use Davinci Resolve for editing (you can also colour correct with it). It's free but also professional-grade and quite easy to use. I post once a week. I think a key to getting subscribers is to really use the tag and description boxes, as well as to make your own thumbnails, which I don't think a lot of people do. And just be genuine and honest about your reading tastes and opinions. People will often also check out your channel if you comment on their videos (I know I check out most of the people who comment on my videos who also have book-related content). I'm fairly new so I don't have thousands of subscribers, and there's still a lot I'm learning myself, but I am growing consistently so hopefully some of that is helpful to you.
