Hello everyone! I'm so excited to have found more people who read adult books, older books, uncommon books, etc.

@Dann I love fantasy, sci-fi and pirates. I think we have similar reading tastes, even if we haven't read too many of the same books yet.

@Kyra I love your colourful setup, thumbnails and graphics. Your videos look amazing!

@Nicole I'm currently really into Russia "everything" as well. I'm most of the way through Doctor Zhivago right now. I look forward to when you start putting out your own content! I'm not sure about recording, but I use Davinci Resolve for editing (you can also colour correct with it). It's free but also professional-grade and quite easy to use. I post once a week. I think a key to getting subscribers is to really use the tag and description boxes, as well as to make your own thumbnails, which I don't think a lot of people do. And just be genuine and honest about your reading tastes and opinions. People will often also check out your channel if you comment on their videos (I know I check out most of the people who comment on my videos who also have book-related content). I'm fairly new so I don't have thousands of subscribers, and there's still a lot I'm learning myself, but I am growing consistently so hopefully some of that is helpful to you.

Hey guys. I'm newish to Booktube, started uploading in January. I'm an aspiring writer working in factual television and my reading us been a little up and down so far this year but I've almost reached my Good Reads goal for this year so I can't be doing that bad.

I talk mainly about urban fantasy, contemporary romance, chicklit, theatre and cozy mysteries. I've been an urban fantasy fan since my teens so that's my main focus half the time but I'm trying to branch out a lot and focus on reducing my TBR shelf.

New to the Group and Super New to Booktube. I'm Gypsie and I've been on Goodreads since 2008 and just heard about booktube a few months ago. What hole was I living in that I had never heard this term before? I have been watching youtube for years and had a few 30-90 sec vids of car-karaoke uploaded. But now I found myself a whole new world and I can't seem to get enough.

I read Adult and Young Adult Sci-Fi, Fantasy, Dystopian and Urban Fantasy, Poetry, Historical Fiction with Magical Realism and my lighter reads of what I consider fluff between epics and high fantasy is Regency Romances.

Hello, folks. My name is Mike and I became a Booktuber entirely by accident. I had made some "video diaries" to help keep track of the Wheel of Time books I was reading and amazingly the channel slowly took off. I've been at it for 6 months, covering fantasy, science-fiction, and horror books, and had moderate growth (about 200 subs/month). How I differentiate myself from other booktubers is that I like to encourage discussion. I respond to every single comment on the videos and encourage being okay with differences of opinion. It's a simple formula, but I hope you'll stop by soon.
