After JBI'm going to abandon the Aussies for this round. I loved Rodney Crowell's album and this is a beautiful, autobiographical song, even if no one here is a country fan. John Paul White is ex-Civil Wars and Mickey Raphael on harmonica is icing on the cake.

I think by now everybody on this forum has learned to check back after nominating/voting on these threads to ensure we haven't crossed over somebody else's post. Unfortunately this site seems very slow on updating such things. For instance, I recently voted, not in this round, and refreshed my page about 5 minutes after I posted to make sure I hadn't clashed with anyone else's post, and I hadn't. Gave it another 5 minutes and sure enogh I had. My point is, it's highly unlikely that posters are not checking back, it's just that the information supplied to us is simply not correct. It's infuriating I know but totally unavoidable at times.

Yes, there is definitely a time lag on this site...I tend to refresh a page several times before posting...as I have noticed on occasions, that posts I've submitted, can one moment be showing, then the next, not! The times I've scratched my head wondering where my post had gone & if I submitted it correctly..then refresh the page again..and hey presto..there it is!

Well, well, well! Would you look at that! I've not seen such polarised scores..in some time, with only 4 songs reaching double digits. The two top songs had been battling it out since the get go, each taking the lead at least once or twice.But let's to it then....after careful back counting....this week's winner is Johnny, with his nomination The Underside Of Power Algiers. His nom, scored two maximum pointers to 1 for Child of Nations - Rosewood Brothers, which was nominated by yours truly.
Congratulations Johnny....I won't pretend to feel green with envy...as I just can't quite get on the top podium spot, having now garnered my 3rd 2nd place..ho hum!
