Tracey (stewartry) | 218 comments I made a Pinterest board of the covers of the books I have at the moment, to make life a little easier - I'm *really* trying not to buy any more books for this!

Anyone have a suggestion for a cover with a wrench or anything that can be bought in a hardware store?

Phair (sphair) | 189 comments I would think that any depiction of blacksmith tools (anvil, tongs, bellows ...) might qualify as "historical" hardware items.

Thanks Carol and Phair. All of these work.

message 18: by Tracey (new)

Flowers and trees on the cover are also an option for this task.

A greenhouse or sunroom? I haven't found one that fits yet, but that's what I'm looking for ...

message 21: by Tracey (new)

Tracey (stewartry) | 218 comments Lauren wrote: "Flowers and trees on the cover are also an option for this task. ..."

But isn't the ultimate goal to do all tasks?

message 22: by Viji (last edited Jan 22, 2018 10:36AM) (new)

Viji | 228 comments Need suggestions for the Task:
Dining Room – Read a book with a food-laden table or buffet on the cover OR a book with any type of dish, silver ware, or serving piece (i.e. platter, large bowl, pitcher) on the cover

Would a chalice or cup on the cover work for this?

Could anyone help me? Are there any historical culinary mysteries?

Thanks.

message 23: by Viji (new)

Viji | 228 comments For the Dining Room Tasks, would any of these books work?

1. Murder in the Servants' Hall (Rose Simpson Mysteries Book 5) by Margaret Addison Murder in the Servants' Hall by Margaret Addison

2. Service for Two (Pennyfoot Hotel #3) by Kate Kingsbury Service for Two by Kate Kingsbury

3. Still Life with Murder (Nell Sweeney Mysteries, #1) by P.B. Ryan Still Life with Murder by P.B. Ryan

I found Moriarty Meets His Match (A Professor & Mrs. Moriarty Mystery, #1) by Anna Castle Moriarty Meets His Match by Anna Castle in Kindle. It is free today and I downloaded it. I think this suits 'book showing any type of large, glass structure on the front'.

message 37: by Tracey (new)

Tracey (stewartry) | 218 comments I wonder if a book I read recently fits the description - "large, glass structure" is vague enough that this might work:

(It wasn't very good, but I'm harsh on cozy mysteries - other people might like it a lot better!)

Jiminy Cricket! Even if it's not high literature it would fit
blue cover
Poisoning
Housekeeper
As well as having a glass structure.
