So I caught up... Masked City was exciting... wasn't sure how Irene and company would survive so deep in enemy territory... I hope allying with several Fae occurs more in future books... was interesting seeing a wider variety of Fae personalities...

Started this and already halfway in. This book is a lot faster paced.

I really don't understand why the library did not try to stamp Alberich out before? Maybe with a taskforce and a dragon alliance? (hide spoiler)]

(view spoiler)[ I agree... I don't need this Vale/Irene/Kai love triangle or open relationship... Vale was just fine as a detective friend/ally... especially with the addition of a Fae I'm really hoping becomes the 4th member of their team for some reason... (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 20: (view spoiler)[Iren & Kai are quick to jump to conclusions and blame the Fae girl of colluding with Albrecht... my money is on Vale, tho... not as a bad guy... but due to his chaos infection... maybe Albrecht is able to see into his dreams or something... (hide spoiler)]
