So no one wants to read it?
Or is everyone starting late? Still it is... kind of silent in here and the group. I mean even if you cant start when the reading starts you can add thoughts here..
Does no one have any thoughts?
Yes yes yes, am not that much better myself. I might reread shadow and bone next week or something.
Though you did vote for Shadow and bone so you would think people would be interested.
Now lets hope someone jumps in the conversation or this will just be a silly monollouge with myself-

I've started re-reading it after years and I'm loving it!!

Carrie (brightbeautifulthings) (brightbeautifulthings) I thought Shadow & Bone was pretty well done! (I'm totally spoiled because I read Six of Crows first, and there's really no comparison, but they're also doing totally different things.) I love the world-building in the Grishaverse, and I think Alina's a pretty cool Chosen One character. I don't really care for Mal or the Darkling that much, but I'm in love with Genya, my queen. I was pretty excited to start Siege & Storm, so that's a good sign!

I agree. Six of crows is the better in the series. The world is one of the best things in it, shadow and bone was good though.
I planned on rereading it for this but hey you know time..

Carrie (brightbeautifulthings) (brightbeautifulthings) I feel like Bardugo was still kind of finding her voice in Shadow & Bone. It has a lot more in common with other YA fantasy series than Six of Crows does.

Real life has to come first. :]] You're still able to have a discussion about it, so maybe that's the important thing?

True. It was her first book, I think, so there is that.

Well yes I read Shadow and bone just not recently, but I remember the book.
