Addicted to YA discussion

Looking for a book that will make me have a good long cry! Any genre is fine, YA preferred. Thank you!

If you haven’t read I’ll Give You the Sun by Jandy Nelson you definitely should. It’s so heartbreaking and honest.

The book thief is a good one and also the boy in the striped pyjamas if you like books like them. They both made me cry.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows , or ..hmm, I cried while reading the Host, please don't judge me. I know what the popular opinion is about Stephanie Meyer and her books, but I really loved that one

The book that made me cry the most is Heartless by Marissa Meyer. Eleanor & Park by Rainbow Rowell made me cry a bit too.

I agree. I don't really cry much, but that one got me when I read it a few years ago.

I think the above make about everyone cry. Books make me tear up rather easily so here are some others that made me cry but i don't know if they'll have the same effect on you.

And I also cried with some of the mortal instruments/ the infernal devices books :)

The Serpent King made me put the book down for the evening & I didn't have the strength to continue to read it until the next day.

A couple of my favourite cries. They both made me ugly cry.
