Fantasy Buddy Reads discussion

So, I'm looking for compilations of short stories. However, most compilations I find mix both Fantasy and Sci-Fi.

I want a compilation with ONLY fantasy short stories. So, if anyone knows any would be greatly appreciated. It's not that I don't like sci-fi, I just prefer it separate from my fantasy :P

I’ve only seen SciFi and horror anthologies. I too want to know if there are any fantasy short stories lol

A favorite of mine is Legends and its sequel Legends II.

For what it's worth, some of us will be starting a buddy read on June 15 of a fantasy grimdark anthology: Evil is a Matter of Perspective: An Anthology of Antagonists

Brandon Sanderson does good fantasy short stories.
Arcanum Unbounded: The Cosmere Collection

Also Must Love Hellhounds but I guess that's more urban fantasy

I haven't read Dangerous Women but it's on my list.

I haven't read them yet, so I think the short stories are only fantasy. My apologies if I'm wrong.

I recently finished The Book of Swords. It was quite a solid collection from start to finish. I read Arcanum Unbounded last year and loved it. The Legends series got the Dunk and Egg tales off to their start, so they have a special place in my heart.

I'd heard of Legends and Rogues, but I always thought they were a mix of fantasy and sci-fi. I'll give them both a look!

Epic: Legends of Fantasy edited by John Joseph Adams is pretty good. Introduced me to Tad Williams and Juliet Marillier. NL Jemisin and GRRM also have their stories there, linked to their series.
