The Sword and Laser discussion

Synopsis: Monster does tasks for the family like chopping wood, but doesn't reveal himself so he's like the gnomes in various fairy tales. He observes the family and learns how to speak. He dreams of revealing himself to them and being accepted.

Commentary: The old man is blind - so that part of Young Frankestein (and maybe the originals?) carried over from the book. It's such a great bit of physical comedy by Gene Hackman and Peter Boyle: https://youtu.be/sXGzO2aDDRU
