Sumit Singla (sumitsingla) Thanks for voting this one as the August BOTM for the group. Let's discuss here. :)

Here's what the blurb says:
One cold night, in a most unlikely corner of Chicago, two teens—both named Will Grayson—are about to cross paths. As their worlds collide and intertwine, the Will Graysons find their lives going in new and unexpected directions, building toward romantic turns-of-heart and the epic production of history’s most fabulous high school musical.

Sumit Singla (sumitsingla) Yes and no! I finished it last night too, and there are some parts I like and others I detest.

amaldae (staticatku) I was initially not thrilled about the idea of reading this books... but then I accidentally wandered into a bookshop where it was on sale, bought it and read it.

And, well, I'm still not a fan of John Green's writing, humor, or characters. But for me, David Levithan was a really positive surprise and his will grayson saved the book from a two-star rating, even though the plot was meh all the way to the end. Here's my review, wink wink ;)

Sumit Singla (sumitsingla) Interesting review, Aavis! The funny thing is that I liked WG more than I liked wg, though. And yes, one of my major complaints was that Tiny was a bit of a caricature, and probably the weakest character in the book.

message 16: by Misha (new)

Misha (itz_mie) even I liked WG more :-) :-)

amaldae (staticatku) Haha, I guess we all seek different things in books. I even liked the angsty scenes in New Moon despite disliking the ah so handsome Edward and his part in the mess... so it came as no surprise that will had my sympathies on his side ;)
