I read this book last night. It is fast-paced and engaging, and kept me awake until I finished it. It's similar to Gone Girl, except with this book, I knew how it would end before I was even halfway through. I was hoping for surprises at the end, but was disappointed. Still, reading Silent Victim was an entertaining way to spend the evening.

Wonderful! I read it in a day because I couldn't put it down. So many different perspectives on terrorism, especially relative to Israel and Palestine. I love the use of time in the novel--how things change, people change--over the course of time. Slightly complex--one should have a working knowledge of the Israeli-Arab conflict. This book is sad, hopeful, funny, mysterious, suspenseful--all of these things in one fantastic read.
